Q: It seems like my furnace is running all the time now. How do I know at what temperature it kicks on/off at? I tried to lower the temperature but it only does it on a temporary basis (even when I press "hold" as stated in the instructions).

Q: Will this thermostat work with Fan Coil systems in downtown Toronto condos? I believe it is 4 pipe heat & cool w Low, Med, High fan. Replacing T8575D series. If not, which models will work for fan coil?

  • A: I don't know but what I can tell you is that this thermostat didn't work at all so we returned it.  As a matter of fact, I have bought 4 different Honeywell thermostats and we have had nothing but problems. I am done with them.

Q: Can the setpoint be adjusted in .5C increments? When the display is set to degrees C, can the setpoint be adjusted to 20.5C etc.?

  • A: Yes, once you change the factory setting of Fahrenheit to Celsius. That process is not outlined in the manual. The following is from Honeywell Customer Service (it was a quick response) "To change the temperature display from Fahrenheit to Celsius, please follow the steps given below: • To access the configuration menu, press both UP and DOWN arrow buttons simultaneously, the display will show you ‘5’ on the left hand side with some number on the right. • Press the UP and DOWN arrow buttons briefly so that the display shows ‘14’ on the left and ‘0’ on the right. • Use the UP arrow button to change the code next to ‘14’ to ‘1’ (1 is for Celsius & 0 is for Fahrenheit). • Press both UP and DOWN arrow buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to exit the configuration menu".

  • A: From the picture on the Canadian Tire web site, it looks as though your question is regarding the Honeywell RTH2310. The RTH2310 family of thermostats is rated for use on 24 vac heating and cooling systems or 750millivolt heating only systems or fireplaces. It is possible your RV heating and cooling system operates on dc voltage. To confirm if the RTH2310 is compatible with the heating and cooling system in your home and RV, please call the Honeywell Consumer Technical Support line at 1-800-468-1502. When you call, it would be useful to have information about the thermostats currently on both systems, how they are wired and what voltages they are rated for.

Q: Does this have a manual fan option? I need a thermostat that will manually turn on the fan instead of turning on the burner on my furnace. does this thermostat have this option? if not which models do you sell that do have this option?
