wish it would have lasted longer then 10 times I used it. made great waffles. then it just died. for the price of quality it's not worth it.

Not professional quality but good enough

I have used a variety of waffle makers. This one is by far the slowest at producing a finished waffle. 10 minutes per batch. They are cooked throughout. 1) buy on sale only 2) try different recipes, adding cornstarch will increase crispness 3) true Belgium deep waffle - I can't add photo now

I purchased in Sept. 2025 the Starfrit Waffle Maker. it has many features I appreciate, such as making crispy waffles similar to my vintage GE model, user-friendly indicator lights, and easy-to-clean plates. I found the latch a bit inconvenient during cooking making it awkward to open the waffle maker at times. I’ve already experimented with different recipes like potato pancakes and Waffle Apple Pie. I purchased this appliance because it was designed in Canada, however it is made in China. I’m looking forward to using this waffle maker for many years.
