Hatchimals Pixies Crystal Flyers Pink Magical Flying Pixie Toy For Kids, Ages 6+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were excited to open this toy and try it out. They not-so-patiently waited for the battery to be charged. Then we went into our spare room and tried it out. It was initially very exciting to play with. But they (and I) worried about it crashing into themselves and things on shelves in the room. After a couple turns each flying the toy, they were happy to move onto another activity and haven't asked to play with it again since. I wouldn't purchase this myself or recommend it to others since it probably won't get played with often enough to be worth the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the Hatchimals Rainbow Glitter Flying Toy Doll is a very cute toy to look at. The packaging and the flying doll are quite glittery but it's taken two adults a while to figure out the flying part and how to control it. My kiddo loves it but as a parent be prepared to read instructions and help a fair bit.

The packaging is very glittery and pink but there sure is a a lot of unnecessary additional plastic packaging. Contents: Hatchimals Pixies Crystal Flyer, USB charging cable and display case this is great as it doesn't require batteries Hatchimals Pixies can really fly and is beautifully detailed with glittery wings. You can launch her from the base or lift her into the air or use your hands to guide her flight. The power her wings get is actually pretty impressive and on a hot day it can double as a portable fan ( In alI seriousnes I do NOT recommend doing that but the wings are very powerful. The flyer get good height but it becomes clear very quickly this toy is NOT suitable for apartments it needs quite a bit of space and even then can hit walls if you're not quick to guide it with your hand. The instructions say that you can touch her wings mid-flight for auto-stop but with the power of her wings that may be tricky for some children to do without their fingers getting hit by the spinning wings. The display egg is beautiful and when not in use can display and store your Crystal Flyer in her crystal egg. Overall it is a fun toy that brings upon family entertainment and laughter but I don't recommend it for appartements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hatchimals Rainbow Glitter Flying Toy Doll is so fun to play its for the entire family. Its easy to assemble. Charging time and flying time is reasonable enough to enjoy the toy. Its sturdy enough to not break even if it hit the ground. One amazing thing is that it bounces up if it gets close to the ground. Definitely a good toy for keeps!
