Q: Is it safe to use it on a 2015 Lexus that has 82000 km? Or is it mainly for older year high mileage cars?
7 years agoA: Yes Gumout Regane Complete Fuel System Cleaner is safe to use in this application. It clean the entire fuel system and restore horsepower and fuel economy. Going forward it would be good practice to use this product at each oil change cycle.

Q: Is this cleaner safe to use for iridium spark plugs? Some cleaners (containing Kerosene and similar solvents) are known to cause iridium spark plugs to turn orange. Will this cleaner cause a similar problem?
9 years agoA: This product has a wet but non-tacky finish. It is an oily liquid that cleans, lubricates and protects. This film has excellent cohesion and adhesion to metal surfaces and is extremely water repellent.

Q: What percentage of PEA is in this additive?
11 years agoA: We cannot provide a specific answer to question as the formula details are proprietary. Adding one bottle to a full tank, typically 45-65 liters will provide a higher than recommended treat rate since the product is designed to treat 79 liters. For a large capacity fuel tank (e.g. 130 L) add two bottles. More than that is generally not required. This is a complete fuel system cleaners that contain PEA at a level that provides 1-tank clean-up of the entire fuel system including injectors (even gasoline direct injectors), intake valves and combustion chambers at the recommended treat rate. PEA is the most effective technology for cleaning the entire fuel system. It can be used for small 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines using about 1 ml to 11 liters of gasoline (plus oil if 2-cycle). Many other detergents will not clean the combustion chamber, and some products may actually make deposits worse in some areas of the engine.
