Q: I lost the key and forgot the pass code. I have the user manual but there is no contact information for the manufacturer. Is there an override or reset code or contact information for the manufacturer to request a new key??

A: I had the same problem with one I bought for my mother in law. Short answer, no. I cut the bottom out with a saw, opened the door, reset the code and attached a new metal bottom.

Q: I know the passcode, but the battery is deaf, and I cannot find the key, is there anyway I can connect a external battery to open it?

A: Short answer—-no. I had the same problem and had to cut a hole in the bottom to get the contents out. I patched it with a small sheet of metal epoxied back on.

A: The digital safe box cannot recall who the last user was based on access code. There only two ways to open the safe: emergency key or the correct digital code(only one set). That is to say, the person who has the correct digital code can open the safe.
