Bulk Please

The shear pins break very easily. Perhaps this is a good thing to protect the machine, however, it's impossible to find these pins in bulk, and 9 bucks for a 25cent bolt is a bit of a kick to the groin. Please care about your customers enough to offer a reasonable option to replace the shear pins for the $2500 dollar machine I bought from you.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello Ryan. Thank you for taking the time to share your expereince. The primary function of a shear pin is to protect the snow thrower by shearing (breaking) when encountering an obstacle that puts too much strain on the auger. Here are a few reasons why your shear pin might be breaking too often.
1. Hitting large obstructions. If you frequently hit rocks, large chunks of ice, or other hard objects while snow blowing, the shear pin is more likely to break.
2. Improper installation. Not tightening the shear pin correctly can cause it to break prematurely.
3. Worn shear pin. A worn or damaged shear pin might break more easily than a new one.
Here are a few suggest to help.
1. Check for obstructions. Before operating your snow thrower, clear the area of any large rocks or debris.
2. Inspect the shear pin. Regularly check the shear pin for signs of wear and replace it if necessary.
3. Use the correct shear pin. Always use the correct replacement shear pin specified in the user manual.
4. Proper installation. Make sure the shear pin is properly installed and tightened according to the manufacturer's instructions. At this time the part is not available in bulk however, when placing an order through Greenworks Tools directly user can purchase up to 20 units per order. Hope this information helpful.
