Easy to operate

A: Hello GreyBrucer, Yes, this can be done using trimmer line at .065 inches in diameter. Instructions to rewind the spool should also be inside your owner's manual.

Q: I’ve inserted the 2nd spool per as shown in the Greenworks videos.. the line is not auto bumping.. the 1st spool that was on the trimmer wasn’t exhausted. Am I doing something incorrectly or might it be defective?

Q: How to re-line an existing spool? From the picture of the replacement spool the line is inserted into one of the four small clip holes around the edge of the housing. Is this the normal set up so that you just pop it into the unit as is or do you pop it out to be more free-flowing?

A: the clip holes on the upper edge are to secure the line and stop it from unraveling. the line can be removed from that position and inserted through the eyelet on the housing when it is ready to be used.
