Single-stage cordless models are engineered for light to moderate accumulations, and dense or end-of-driveway plow piles can significantly increase load demand, which impacts both clearing speed and runtime.
Regarding the battery cooldown period, 60V lithium-ion batteries include built-in thermal protection. After extended heavy discharge, especially in cold outdoor conditions, the pack may require time to return to an optimal charging temperature before it will accept a charge. While this protection helps preserve long-term battery health, we recognize it can be inconvenient during larger clearing jobs.
