Q: Could this be used as a temp. power source to power a sump pump if the power to the home goes off ? Also how long would it last ( approx .).

A: Hello there, This would not be ideal for powering a sump pump as any battery attached to it would not give sufficient power.

Q: Is this for the Canadian Greenworks batteries or the American Greenworks batteries? I purchased the American one and was told they are different for each country and the Greenworks rep said I need model # 9300000 for the Canadian batteries (not listed).

Q: What's the max current output? Can I use this to power gardening tools, like a hedge trimmer, for example?

A: The output is 115V, 2.6A, 300W. This would be more for cell phones, laptops, fans and lamps. We would advise to use a cordless gardening tools/trimmer rather than this inverter with AC product.
