great warranty

I purchased miine 3 years ago. Battery life decreased but is still good. If by chance It runs out. Plug in five minutes or so. I don't have a large lot but a lot of trimming. Brought my unit in for repair. Have to pull battery out to stop. They gave me a location where to bring it to repair. Next day the repair company called to say it is to costly to repair. They gave me a letter to return to point of purchase to get anew one. 5stars for warranty 4 for the unit that broke down,

I bought this for the cottage. It's powerful enough to trim much more than just grass, and made short work of ferns, weeds and up to 1/4" diameter tree/shrub seedlings. Best not to run it constantly as the autofeed loads when you release the trigger. Only criticism would be the charge only lasts 30-40 minutes, and you have to wait 90 minutes for it to recharge. I could see that being annoying in the city if you've almost finished but not quite. At the cottage, there are more than enough other chores (or relaxing to do) while waiting for the recharge.

Was simple to assemble, and did our large corner lot on one battery charge. Light enough for our son to use! Did it's job and not too loud.

I have always had problems with my gas trimmers so I was excited to try this Greenworks 24v lithium grass trimmer. It was easy to setup. You only need a Phillips screwdriver for the shroud. The telescopic handle is easy to adjust to the desired height and the trimmer is light and well balanced. The electric trimmer had no trouble cutting through long grass. The battery didn't last long enough to finish my lawn though so I had to recharge the battery and finish trimming the next day. To be fair, I have a lot of trimming to do because of the pool and the fence surrounding the pool but would of liked to be able to finish on one charge. This is why I give the Greenworks 24v Lithium grass trimmer, 4 stars.

This product was easy to use. It is not something that I would have picked up in the store to purchase, but after using this product I would definitely go out and buy this product and would recommend it to others. We like this so much that we want to purchase other items that are part of this product line (ie. hedge trimmer).

A: Yes. One battery. I compared it with the Black and Decker that had 2 batteries but its 2 batteries had the same time rating as the one Greeworks, based on what the packaging said.

A: The battery is currently available directly in store under the product number 60-2291 or directly through byc alling the following number (1-877-888-3872). • Store your battery & charger indoors in a dry, well ventilated area with the temperature between 43 - 104*F (6-40*C) • For optimal long term storage charging: Fully charge your battery before placing them in storage. • Do not store your battery in the tool or charger when not in use • Recharge the battery pack whenever there is less power. Do not allow the batteries to become completely discharged.
