Q: I have blossom end rot on my zucchini plants. can this product be sprayed on plant to get calcium absorbed quickly into vegetable plant?

1 Answer

A: Regrettably Green Earth Bone Meal is not water soluble and therefore will not dissolve in water for a spray application. A better solution for your blossom end rot (which is an indication of a calcium deficiency) is to use CIL Dolomitic Limestone 59-2368-6. Not only will it sweeten the soil, improving the growing conditions for your vegetables, but it will replenish calcium help prevent blossom end rot.
