Very bad product. I would be ashame to sell that.

Very bad product. Made of plastic that will get loose after a few uses and the rotating mechanism will fail. 100$ for 5 uses, it’s a shame. I called the company and they find that normal that it’s useless after 1 year and won’t do anything .

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: If I have a Scotts spreader what setting should I have (the number) if I’m using Golfgreen weed & feed.

A: You can call Golfgreen, they have a conversion chart, to help make sure you don't under or overspread based on the makeup. (I wouldn't use weed and feed now. Most of the weeds have already germinated. You want to throw that down shortly after the snow is gone.)

Q: How does this spreader stand up to salt ?

A: Hello Rick, the mechanism is in plastic, so it doesn't rust. We recommend cleaning it if there is a buildup of residual material otherwise a good clean at the end of the season is good enough. Thank you.

Q: It says it auto-stops spreading when stopped. Can it be rolled without spreading anything? Like when moving from backyard to front yard?

A: Many times a lawn is burnt as fertilizer spills from the spreader while stationary. The Golfgreen Lawn Spreader has an auger system that prevents this type of spillage!

A: It will spread sand if it is dry without lumps. It can be used for ice melt as well.
