I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle with some road paint down the drivers side rocker. I had tried many home remedies that just didn't work. It was very thick in some areas. With nitrile gloves on I soaked a terry cloth and held it against the road paint until it started to soften. Some areas would wipe away the ones that didn't came off using a 0° tip on my power washer at close range. Happy with results.
