Q: will this reduce the voltage for my radio? I have a 12v battery system but my radio requires 6v. Will this work?

A: if you are running a six volt radio in a twelve volt car you will need a volt a drop unit which a quarter ohm resistor I think anyone into old cars should be able to help.
