A: PLEASE NOTE - This response ONLY applies to stock that was shipped to stores before May 2014. *************************************************************************** Yes, these disposable nitrile gloves will protect hands against bloodborne pathogens, but are only one part of the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) protocol in a medical setting. Gowns/aprons, masks, goggles, face shields and respirator protection are also recommended. These nitrile gloves were developed for industrial use (i.e. mechanics, industrial workers, security) and comply with safety standards EN374-1 /2 /3 for protection against Chemicals and Micro-organisms.
