not sure how to turn on or it is just defective

I don't understand how this light works or is it just defective? It's squishy and cute but stopped working quite quickly after getting it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Our little grandson loves this nightlight!!

This is the second nightlight we bought for our little grandson from this line . The first one is a whale and still works perfectly ! We got the dinosaur one only because he is fascinated with dinosaurs right now ! We knew the quality already ! Great quality product that is reasonably priced too!
