Globe Indoor Wifi Smart Plug, 2-Outlets, Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, White

I bought this 2-outlet smart plug at the same time as the 3-pack of individual smart plugs. The 3 individual smart plugs stopped working first, so I thought "at least the 2-outlet plug works fine" because the 2-outlet was the main reason for my purchase, I only bought the 3-pack so I could switch my other smart plugs to Globe and have everything all in one app. Well, just an hour or two after giving up on the 3 other smart plugs, this 2-outlet smart plug began to have the exact same problem- turning off, then turning on and off every few seconds, then staying off. Very disappointing. I did read a lot of negative reviews of Globe products prior to buying, but I overlooked them because Globe is the only Canadian company making smart home products and I really wanted to be able to buy Canadian (their products are made in China but the company itself is Canadian). Sadly the only Canadian smart home options, thanks to Globe, are total garbage, and I'll have to stick with my Chinese-owned smart home products (and find another workaround for the logistical reason I was buying new ones to begin with).

C’est la meilleure que j’ai vu, c’est bien mieux avec une prise seule! Juste à de l’entré avec wifi et BT et tu peux mettre n’importe quoi et sa marche! Totalement recommandé!👍🏼

Easy to set up with the app Globo suite

J'ai acheté ce produit dernièrement pour contrôler l'éclairage de mon sapin de Noël via mon téléphone cellulaire. Ça fonctionne, la connectivité est plutôt bonne et facile d'utilisation. Cependant, la prise s'éteint souvent toute seule ou inversement de façon aléatoire sans que je lui en ai donné la commande. Donc, malgré qu'elle soit fonctionnelle, la prise ne fait aucunement son travail correctement. Même les routines ne fonctionnent pas. Allumer ou éteindre l'éclairage d'un sapin, ok, mais si la prise contrôle quelque chose de plus important, ça peut être problématique (ex. un aquarium). Bref, lorsque fonctionnel, c'est super, mais je suis probablement tombé sur un produit défectueux. J'achèterais un autre modèle à rechoisir.

Thankfully bought this on sale. Worked fine for 8 months controlling my HRV and shutting down the HRV during peak electricity times. Was unused for the spring and summer. Went to set it up this Fall and it’s dead…absolutely no sign of life. Messaged Globe Electric to ask if anything could be done, like a special procedure to reset the device. They replied promptly, didn’t answer that question (though I asked 2 different times), offered replacement if I sent them a receipt. I sent my receipt and they said sorry it’s more than 1 year old so you get nothing :-( They offered to help me buy a replacement and I replied I won’t buy any more of your unreliable products. I have Geeni and D-link smart switches which have been reliable for 5+ year, so I recommend those brands.
