These are so easy to set up and are excellent! I bought more as gifts. Can use as regular warm white or cool white (I call that LED light) but the colours are so good. AND so many options that if you can’t choose, you can select from their pre-programmed colours or even use their blend patterns that slowly flow they different colour waves. I chose Ocean for the blue-y tones.

Lights work great but the set up of the lights to app were a bit weird. Had to flick the lights 3 times while bluetooth connecting.

Acheté il y a un mois pour usage extérieur (indiqué comme ampoule intérieure) dans deux lanternes. Faciles à programmer et à synchroniser pour des effets en couleur. Fonctionne même par temps très froid.

Merci pour votre commentaire. Nous sommes ravis d’apprendre que ces ampoules fonctionnent parfaitement dans vos lanternes extérieures, même si elles sont indiquées pour un usage intérieur. C’est excellent de savoir qu’elles sont faciles à programmer, à synchroniser et qu’elles offrent de beaux effets de couleur, même par temps très froid.

A: I ran these all winter in Moncton outside and with open bottom fixtures. Programming was a bit of a learning curve.

A: Technically the setup is started by downloading the app to your phone or tablet. You don't even need to have a smart hub. After setting up the app, you can set up the smart bulb by turning it on and off.

Q: Will it work with a dimmer switch?

A: I believe it’s supposed to work with dimmer switch but use them as programmable and control the colour and brightness through an app on my phone. Programming is not easy and you need to set up a 2.4Ghz SSID on your router if you don’t have one already. Most routers default to 5Ghz now.

A: I have the Globe Suite App downloaded on my phone but control the bulbs with either Amazon Alexa or Google Home. They both work.

Q: Does this light bulb have a feature (through the settings in the app I would assume) where you can slowly increase and/or decrease the dimming affect? Like slowly get brighter and brighter in the morning - like a visual alarm?

A: I don't believe that the Globe App has this ability. However, I use a Google Nest and am able to set a routine where my lights turn on at a scheduled time and dim up. I'm not sure if Alexa or SmartThings would do the same.
