Seems to have trouble consistently finding the WiF

I bought this outdoor WiFi plug because I wanted to replace the indoor plug that I was using for outdoor fountains. The outdoor plug was far more complex to initially set up, including see the colour and blinking pattern of the unit (even when I was ducking my head under a blanket to see the colours and blinks). The outdoor plug also seemed inconsistent in turning on and off as programmed when my cellphone as not in the room immediately next the outdoor plug.

Limited settings

This is a well-built, robust item that functions as intended. However, it has some unexpected limitations, which are not made clear in the product write-up: it can be programmed for only 5 actions. Turning the power delivery on and then off counts as two of those 5 actions. I use it to switch a dehumidifier in my wine cellar and would have liked to be able to add more daily cycles. Had I known I would be so limited, I would have chosen another device. I suggest Globe or Canadian Tire consider amending its product description so potential customers know what they are buying.

No, I do not recommend this product.
