Paint rots.

This paint rots within weeks of opening. Even when lid is re-secured, days later the paint is discolored and smells foul. 3 gallons over 6 months and all the same. I recommend using entire gallon the first time and saving none for later.

  • A: Hello George, we do not recommend using this in kitchen areas as it is not mold resistant like the Premier Kitchen and Bath paint is. When it comes to tinting the paint this can be done at the paint counter. Prior to priming the surface a correct preparation is needful - if you have any additional questions please feel free to contact us 1-866-PAINT99 or by email at premier@ucppaint.com- or go to your local Canadian Tire.

  • A: You would have to consult the information of the machine you are using as each one is different however a general guide is to not dilute with a mixture of more than 10% water.

  • A: Good day CCMH, the difference bases have to do with the pigment and intensity of colours. For example, to achieve a black colour a base 3//deep base would be used. However, for something like an off-white, a base 1 would be used. That being said, the staff at the paint counter are equipped to ensure that the correct base is chosen as this is based off of formulation programmed in the tinting machine. Likewise, when a colour is picked from the colour wall - the formulation will call for a base type depending on the colour selected.
