Discontinued? Nowhere to be found anywhere except 5 in Ontario Canadian Tire stores. We have been using these for at least 35 years. Tried some fancy alternatives when we did the kitchen reno but reverted back to this. 2 being shipped from Lindsay Canadian Tire to me in Kingston for backup ... Ontario retail inventory down 40% to 3 ... Sorry y'all ...

A: it has a hanging bracket that is screwed onto the door. The bin just lifts off of the bracket for easy cleaning. I have had one of these in my kitchen in the last 3 houses and am buying one for our new house. Best little hidden kitchen garbage can.

Q: Are those dimensions the height with the lid open?

A: It is 15.8 inches high which is measured from the bottom to the top of the unit. (Height measurement doesn’t include the lid open) With the lid open add another 7 inches or a total of 22.8 inches for the height of the unit.

A: The two holes were incorporated into the bottom of the Glad Roomate to allow for easy cleaning of the container. The holes allow easy water flow through the container when cleaning it. This container takes a Glad Roomate 52 ct Kitchen Catcher CTC Item # 42-3004.
