Great Minimalist knife

Pros: Lightweight, Dual lock fuction open and closed, high visual color scheme for easy recognition, great cutting surface with easy sharpening abilities. Holds edge retention well Cons: Carry sheath makes difficult to handle for quick retrieval and quick holster. The strap system should have simply been a velcro and snap. Methodology of use: Light camp chores, primary first aid tool for cutting splints and bandages; rope splicing, fire starting with ferro rod using spine of blade...works well for this who is this knife for: Day hikers, Backpackers, campers and anyone who needs a good lightweight but solid knife to complete light tasks or simply needs an EDC that doesn't feel bothersome on their belt. Conclusion: There is no one knife for all uses but its good to have a primary, secondary and back up blade ie, fixed blade when you will be spending an ample amount of time in the Back Country!
