I have to say that I'm quite impressed with this tool. I checked on my square and it had 90 right on. It seems to work perfectly. Now I've only used it a few times over the last month or so but I have been pleasantly surprised.

Works great finding angles for various projects the only issue I have with the product is the power button also resets the unit to zero weather it's actually at zero or not. That being said when you look at the price of the unit it's well worth the price.

This product is fantastic.

I use this tool so much. The most use is to read off an angle to set up for a cut on a compound saw. Also great for angle ceilings to transpose onto drywall for cuts. It is a must for anyone with a tool kit.

Worked well for the first 10 - 15 times I used it, then suddenly stopped reading angles correctly. Now worthless!

General 5'' digital angle finder

Pulled this from the packaging and test it on my 2 foot square. Got a reading of 90.0 degrees. Then put it on my slide square. Got a reading of 45.0 degrees. Im impressed. Thanks

Q: Display and Acuracy The display is in degrees. What it shows after the decimal point? 1/10(= 6") degree or percentage of degree? What is the accuracy beyond the decimal point?

A: according to the General Tools web site, the accuracy is +/- 0.3 degrees, which makes the actual accuracy 0.6 degrees. That's not bad for basic carpentry, but not really accurate enough for cabinetry.
