My generator has worked flawlessly since I purchased it. Unfortunately I have been unable to get it to work as I had intended, which is to run my pool circulation pump during winter power outages. I have verified through multiple electrical experts that my connection from the generator to the pool equipment is correct. My next step is to adjust the Hertz output down to 60 from the 62 it is currently producing. Any direction you can provide me to make that adjustment would be sincerely appreciated.

Great Features on the iQ3800 Dual Fuel generator

I am very pleased with the iQ3800 Dual Fuel Generator because of all the features it includes. It provides great value as a standby for living in an apartment in an area which is subject to get periodic ice storms and resulting power outages.

I bought this new generator new in the box for our deer camp. We unboxed it and added the oil and clean gasoline and started it. It was gushing gas out of the carb so we had to shut it down. When we called Menards to bring it back for an exchange they said that they don't take them back and we had to bring it to a certified repair shop that was 75 miles away from our camp. Needless to say, we didn't have a generator for deer season because the repair shop was booked. When I picked it up the owner said that the carb was full of gunk and that he couldn't even charge Generac for the repair because it was a fuel issue. how could that be possible when it was brand new out of the box? I am very disappointed that we have a generator that could be a lemon and the repair shop didn't get paid!

While retailers set their own return policies, it’s unfortunate that you were sent straight to a repair shop—especially one so far away—and then couldn’t use your generator when you needed it most. We also recognize how confusing it must have been to hear that the carburetor was full of “gunk” on a machine fresh out of the box, and that the repair shop wasn’t compensated. A: Merci pour votre question ! La batterie livrée avec le générateur a été complètement chargée. Une batterie peut perdre une partie de sa charge lorsqu’elle n’est pas utilisée pendant de longues périodes. Si la batterie ne parvient pas à démarrer le moteur, branchez le chargeur 12 volts inclus avec le générateur. Des instructions complètes sont fournies à la page 15 du manuel du propriétaire.
