    Great buy

    I bought this bulb 2 weeks ago and setup was very easy. I can schedule the on off times easily for any day of the week. I enjoy being able to change the color output anytime I want. If you're buying this, make certain your wifi has a 2.4 ghz output as it will not work on the 5 or 6 Ghz.

    You really should tell people that they must use their credit card to access geeni app. Also them the wait for your 1-888 line is a minimum of 15 minutes.. It is a techno nightmare. Zero star is not available or I would have rated it truthfully. In anticipation you clearly state in the instructions DO NOT RETURN TO STORE. That is an indication you anticipated experiences similar to mine!

    Don't Bother - garbage

    They're almost garbage. I got these for my elderly fathers house, he has dementia, to ensure light's are turned on as he often forgets. Bought two, the first one took 6 tries to connect, second one would not connect at all after around 30 tries. Reset them and change location multiple times, nothing was wrong with the internet connection. What a waste of time and energy. I use similar bulbs from Globe and have never had issues. Returning immediately.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Doesnt work with a high speed internet it wants you to change settings on modem to a lower speed which is ridiclious .

    • A: Sorry you can program them but you would have to select a colour that's basically red or green if you don't want standard white/yellow. And the app can be a nightmare to use. I've been trying to get mine to work again for weeks.

    Q: If your wifi drops do you have to reset the light completely? Or will it just keep working when you get the wifi back? Also, does it matter if you use the switch to turn it on and then a phone to turn it off, or will it work fine nonetheless?

If ever you encounter power outage or internet interruption, there are some cases that you need to reconnect them back manually, but it will also depend on your WiFi connection. We just have to make sure that the 2.4 GHz WiFi connection is separated to 5 GHz. Also, we don't recommend to use the switch to turn them on and off, because it might trigger the bulb to blink again. You can just use the Geeni application to turn them off and on, you can also create a schedule when to turn them on.     Q: Can this lightbulb light up a room? Or is it just used for Lamps, etc.?

I am glad to inform you that this lightbulb has the ability to light up the room and as a matter of fact when in white it is as bright as 75 watts, way brighter than the regular 60W bulb. It can be a direct replacement for E26 lightbulbs whether in a lamp or other fixture. The other factor that we may have to discover in though in terms of how wide the light can cover is depending on the size of the room.
