Hose tamed by a simple reel

Old school and simple design. My outside walls are stucco. I did not want to drill into the wall so I used an old board just a bit wider than the hose reel. I drilled two holes, leaned the board against the wall and, voilà, the unruly hose is tamed for the moment.

Great until it Begins to Rust

We bought this last summer and it worked well. However, this year, we’ve noticed it’s beginning to rust all over. My husband removed it, then primed and painted it with Rustoleum products. Hopefully it will last a few more seasons!
