Great little machine

Great little machine. Purchased 3 years ago. Use it regularly throughout each summer. Starts on the first pull every time. Saved me many times the purchase price VS rentals already. And in a year or two when I am done working with it, I can still get good coin for it. Recommendations: READ the assembly instructions really well. Remember they come without oil in them. Look after it. Clean after each use in dusty conditions. Store indoors.

Q: Does this come with a protective cover over the plate? For going over patio stones etc..

A: No it does not come with any protective cover. I always run the compactor over my paver just like that. I don’t know if u can run a compactor over a paver stone because the vibration might break the stone. But paver brick is fine. Check my site to see what kind of paver I used the paver for. Q: I purchased this a month ago and it has worked great. however the bolt holding the throttle on to handle stripped and no longer holds. the hose between the gas tank and air filter broke at the connection on the gas tank. How do i get warranty parts?

A: It doesn’t say but looks like a copied Briggs and Stratton. It works perfectly but ours leaks gas from day 1.

Q: I just purchased this machine. it did not come with oil for the engine or engine manual (as per other questions). I tried to send an email to "service@canadiantire.ca" as noted in some answers but came back "undeliverable. Please note correct address.

A: Just off the phone with Yardworks who look after this product for Canadian Tire. The oil is just your basic 5w-30 or 10w-30 motor oil, the two fill locations are both for the bottom end so fill up whichever you like. The G200f compactor = .60L of oil, G300F = .9L and the G390F = 1.1L of oil.
