Q: Can you use this handle on a closet door that does not have a hole bored into in? Previous handle was attached with four screws and does not have a latch

A: A passage lock will only work if it’s installed as the attached instruction. Latch is an essential element for the door to be positioned correctly when closed.

Q: How do you install the Garrison Straight Passage Lever Lockset when there are no outside screws to tighten the two handles to the door? Bought 3 sets at local CT and have tried repeatedly, with no success. The small instruction leaflet is useless.
