I bought this to put in my new exterior steel door about 3 weeks ago. After it was installed I noticed that about 10% of the time, the handle would “catch” on something when turning it and you hand to use extra force to open the door. Last night, I had locked the lock in the handle before going to bed. When my daughter arrived home, her key would not go in the lock at all. Thankfully, my son was still awake and she texted him to let her in. I tried my keys, and they won’t even go in the lock. I bought this because of the price for both handle and deadbolt together, and it’s still a costly mistake. I have my receipt but threw out the packaging, so I know my store won’t allow me to return it. Very disappointed.

No, I do not recommend this product.
