I attempted to install this myself but required some assistance. The screws are typical Chines cheap and stripped too easily. Even my super handy DIY friend was challenged with the installation - the door could not be locked from the inside once the key was removed. Once installed, the handle looked good

After 20 years, the original gripset became very hard to open from the insde and needed to be replaced. The Garison handle set was a good match to the original, and fit almost perfectly. I had to drill a new bottom hole, but the old one was covered up on the outside by the handle. I was pleased with the installation. This met my primary goal of matching the old lockset.
