Looks good but that's it

I purchased this because it was stylish, however, it is far too noisy to have in my living room for extra heat source. It doesn't seem to put out much heat either unless you are very close to it. I will be returning.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Quickly warmed my cold apartment
I have an apartment in a house and don't control the temperature. I have a one year old so having warm rooms and floors are so important. I went from being uncomfortably cold every day, to being comfortable. I was so frustrated with the heating I was considering a move. I love where I live and now I don't have to go.
Coldest winter in years and now we are comfy.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: YES, it DOES have a fan. I bought one today and I will be returning it tomorrow. Hum from fan is too loud for a bedroom. But I do have to say that it does provide a lot of heat quickly.

Q: Does this heater contain teflon?
Looking to use this heater to warm a room with a bird in it, need to know if teflon or any other materials toxic to birds was used in it's manufacturing. Garrison doesn't seem to have a company website and since it's made in China, I'm very cautious.

A: All of our heaters are Teflon Free and pet friendly.
Having said that the first time a heater is used it may omit an odour caused by manufacturing residue. For the first time use I would recommend turning the heater on outside in a covered area so it will burn the manufacturing residue off to avoid any type of odour .

Q: how does no-frost work?
I am using the heater in my cold room to prevent the room from going below freezing. If I plug in the unit, set "no frost" and then leave it, will it automatically start when the room is below 5 degrees?
1 Answer
A: You need to plug in the heater, leave it as no-frost setting and turn the power setting to either “I” or “II”. Then the heater will be in “No Frost” mode and only turn on when the surrounding temperature drop below 5 degrees.

Q: How do you set the thermostat to maintain a certain temperature?
The package indicates that the unit has this feature, but the manual doesn't explain how to set the thermostat to maintain a certain temperature. In fact, the unit has a few additional settings not referred to in the manual.

A: Page 6 of the manual addresses this issue for the product. Attached is a screen shot of the section. There is a slider switch on the top of the unit that the user should slide towards the large circle for higher heat (up to 35°C) or to the smaller circle for lower heat (down to 18°C). They can move the slider along the range to adjust to temperatures between the min and max.
