It was defective, when it got unlocked I couldn’t relock it, and yes it was in the auto lock position …. Defective wiring probably…. Returned for a different brand

Save your money, don't bother

Absolute garbage. Electronic code setup would not work. Tried resetting the system and trying multiple times to setup new user codes and it still wouldn't program. Key mechanism seems dickered and poorly engineered. Going back to CT tomorrow

A: So sorry for your luck! We also had one and it was complete garbage. It never worked from the start. The packaging was already damaged so it wasn’t returnable. We ended up just throwing it out. Buyer beware- do not purchase this product.
