works for warranty period only

Great heater for one year. After that only the bottom half of heating element was working. Yr 2, the next winter, the bottom half quit. We only used the heater for periods of 2 hours or so and about 3 days a week in the winter in our sun room, an 8x10ft room. So disappointed.

Very good beginning

I just bought this heater from Canadian tire with a discount . I just returned Bionair heater because if thermostat problem , this Garrison works fantastic with illuminated big screen so you can see the temp in front of you increases . It is amazing , raised temp on low mode from 12 to 20 in less than 20 minutes .
Thermostat is working very good , remote is working fine with full control of all features .
This one is cheaper and better than Bionair I just bought , hopefully it will finish this winter!

A: Not really...all you can do is set a timer for when you want to turn it off.

A: Only to turn it off. As in, you set how many hours you want it to run, and it will shut off after that amount of time.

Q: does it have a clock timer to turn on/off at specific time? Trying to post a question on Canadian Tire is pointless as it will not take any nickname , why is this required in the first place? It only figures as they have a pathetic search engine/web site!

Q: Is it possible to use it as a fan only? If it is possible, I would use this unit as heater for winter months, but also as a fan in the summer for drying sports equipment. Can this be done? I don't need a powerful drift.
