    I like the intermitent feature.

The unit comes on at partial power for short periods of time. This should save power. The room temp stays very stable. I have mine set for 240 second intervals.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    • A: The thermostat is designed to get a bit warm (there is a heat sink on the right side of the device to remove heat from the circuitry). It should not get warmer than 40 ºC.

Q: Where are the screws behind the panel? Hole in wall is horizontal so I want to make sure it fits the screws without having me have to break the wall or hang this sideways? Thanks.

    • A: There are 4 available holes in the mounting plate. These will match the spacing of the threaded holes of the electrical switch box were the wires are.

Q: Will it cycle? Will it cycle (as in description of 7 day model and my old Noma one did): e.g. turn on head for few minutes several times per hour to increase comfort; or will it just turn ON if temperature below threshold/off above - as mechanical models do....

    • A: Yes the unit will cycle. I have mine set for every 240 seconds. It cycles at a lower power and this can be seen on the power bar.

Q: Is there one that goes up to 3600 w? Preferably a Garrison Brand?

    • A: Not in the present line-up for 2013/2014. Check back in the fall. Otherwise for loads exceeding the maximum you can use relay with a 24 volt transformer. There are some on the market that can handle large loads and are controlled by 24 volt thermostats.
