Do not buy

Bought it in July 2016. Turned it on yesterday June 23/19. Runs forever but no water. Repairs are costly. Option is to buy another brand. 1 year warranty tells you something.

until it didn't. Stopped collecting water in the container. Bought in August 2015, used only some evenings during summers ... hardly used at all in other words ... and quit working about a month ago, early June 2018. Also, it is very loud.

Q: What is "Auto Dry mode"
In "Auto Dry" while in "Dry mode" does the compressor also turn on and off when you reach below 50% humidity (like in Manual set mode)? Is it otherwise (other than auto adjusting fan) different from manual set (set at 50% humidity)?

A: We found that no, it did not reliably shut off.

Q: What cycle works best auto or mannuel
would like to hear from the public

1 Answer
A: Auto dry mode dries your air to 50% humidity automatically – the compressor will cycle on and off when the desired humidity is reached. In Auto Dry the compressor will cycle on and off when the desired humidity is reached.
The manual setting allows you to adjust the desired humidity level in the room to as low as 30%, when the unit reaches that humidity level, the compressor will cycle on and off, as the humidity in the room increases
