Garmin Exhomaps UHD2 75CV.

I bought this to replace an older smaller Garmin echomap The larger screen is clear and sunlight readable. It functions very well and is user friendly. The price was comparable to others and the bonus was it was on special.

Excellent Machine with a few Quirks

This is a great machine. I've owned several GPS / Fishfinders. This is technically a Chartplotter / Fish Finder. The screen and functions are great. There are a few annoyances, such as having to navigate a menu to shut the unit down. This, of course happens as I am docking! Maybe ther is a way to turn it off more easily. The included canadian lkaes is unfortunately a subscription that you have to activate by installing the Active Captain app. I thought I did this but am still being prompted to activate the subscription. As a way to navigate and observe the bottom of your lake, this works well. I have not tried the SD card and contour saving yet. I don;t think I need it.
