A little overkill

I wanted a new GPS with a larger touch screen, this one was the best choice. I however do not use a cell phone so some of the features are useless to me. Also the compass on the map view does not point to north, it is of by about 30 degrees and there is no way to re-calibrate it. I really like the voice search function, which will also give you multiple finds if it is searching for a single word.

I have only used my recent purchase for longer trips, but it works great! I like the large screen and the ease of use. A feature I especially like is the speed limit is visible onscreen in case I have not seen a sign in a while.

Q: Does it have the functions for Transport Routes? Truck Routing and MTO SCALES? Does it notify about traffic accidents and/or Traffic Flow obstructions, Construction Zone Updates, Rerouting? Etc...

Q: In my city, there's several areas where 50km/hr was dropped to 40 km/hr for safety reasons, but my GPS still shows the Original 50km/hr speed there. How long does it take before the New Speed Limit(s) start showing up?

A: Yes has a history. But beware some highways in the US and they aren’t new roads, it showed us driving thru fields, this was in North Carolina. What I don’t like about it doesn’t give you an alternate route choice.
