This set of four metal quick connectors from Gardena is designed for reliabilty and watertight performance between your tap and hose as well as between hoses and gardening appliances. Thanks to the Gardena System, any accessories with standard fittings can easily connect to the hose and stay connected whilst watering. The automatic water stop function instantly stops water flow when an attachment is removed and only resumes when another accessory is reconnected. The grooved grips make the quick connectors easy to operate even with wet hands whilst the built-in frost protection helps prevent damage in colder weather.

Solid, but careful if you have really hard water

Very solid product. I upgraded to metal after one of my plastic spigot connectors broke a few years ago. Expensive, but worth it. My only gripe is that the connections may corrode together if you have really hard water. Soaking in vinegar and some force may help them come apart. One solution is to use the metal on the spigot and attachment itself, then use the plastic quick connects.

Maybe not worth the premium

These look the business, metal construction feels solid and will hopefully hold up over time. Not sure it’s really worth the premium over the standard plastic gardena fittings. These are quite a bit heavier which is noticeable on the accessory end of your hose if you’re hand watering. I ended up buying more of the plastic type fittings and quick connects to add on to this kit.

Q: How come it states LIFETIME guarantee on the package but it's only warrantied 1 YEAR at the store?

A: The Premium All Metal 4 pc set, should have a 1 year warranty, however, the old packaging showed Lifetime guarantee, and although this is not the case for the updated products the vendor will still honour the warranty given it is printed on the packaging.
