Little expensive but soo convenient!

Growing up in a country outside of North America the Gardena couplings were a standard. I rarely ever even saw a garden hose with screw couplings as they didn't come with them. Instead the Gardena couplings were made with a "crimp" end which attached right to the hose. If the hose was old and hardened it would eventually come lose but with these ones that attach to existing screw couplings, that never happen. Having these helps as you don't have to turn the water off when changing nozzles or attaching the hose to a power washer. It automatically stops the water when the coupling is released. Brilliant and should be standard. If it was standard, perhaps the price would come down too... It's a little expensive for what it is.

I had purchased a complete kit similar to this in a cheaper brand, about half the cost, and they barely lasted one year. The parts would start to stick, lock up and leak. This product is a much higher quality and I expect them to last a lot longer than the cheaper versions out there. This product works very well, and I really started to like not having to turn the water off to change nozzles. I also managed to rig together a short term linking of 2 hoses with these parts and the parts standard on the Gardena nozzles and it works perfect. One of these kits and a few Gardena nozzles/watering devices and you can do almost anything. Makes watering different things in the yard (grass to garden) much quicker not having to turn the water off each time.
