Stratford Ontario store SUCKS

Can’t properly update the availability of their products. Twice now I’ve come to this store to purchase items that don’t exist when I get to the Stratford Ontario store. One of them being a big ticket item I ended up purchasing at the ingersoll Ontario store. You can do better STRATFORD location. From now on I will never set foot in that store. Waste of my time and my gas!

Fram PCV valve

I had a horrible exhaust smell in my car and was advised by a Mechanic to change my PCV valve. I purchased this one from Canadian Tire and the smell has gone and hasn’t returned.

A: Hi there, thank you for shopping at Canadian Tire. Unfortunately CTC does not carry a FRAM PCV valve for a 2009 Toyota Camry LE 2.4L V4 (2AZ-FE).

Q: Why does the image of the PCV valve have the plastic elbow joint on it, but none of the stores carry the part with the elbow joint? I have gone to 3 stores, each one has this part with this Canadian Tire part number of 017-6263 and none of them have it...

A: Hi there, depending on each product, which is vehicle specific, they may or may not have an elbow joint attached. This is all relative to the product itself, however, the picture for the PCV Valve is a generic one which shows this piece included.

Q: Will this PCV valve work on an 87 Chev Camaro, 305? it looks to be the same style but does it not come with a grommet?

A: Hi there, depending on the engine for your vehicle there could be a few different PCV Valve options that are compatible. Please see below as you will need to confirm, purchase and install accordingly. V6 2.8L - Part no. FV299 while our CTC SKU no. is 017-6266. V8 5.0L & 5.7L - Part no. FV184 while our CTC SKU no. is 017-6209.
