Cool idea, but....

Only the built in patterns can be used since the iPhone app is no longer available, plus it requires a headphone jack to transfer custom patterns to the device, which newer iPhones don't have.
Returned the product.

So, the first one worked-sort of but it would not switch the pattern in the random mode and not project the proper image in the program able mode. I took it back, thinking I got a bum unit, and the replacement works worst than the first one. Also, the numbers on the unit for the modes and selecting a pattern are next to impossible to read. My son is very diasppointed with it. Complete garbage. DO NOT BUY.

I had high hopes for this. I opened package and looked at instructions which was simple. But when I tried to install it, the instructions made no sense. Then I could not in my life get this to work properly. I even took the time to email the makers, they didn't even reply. My kid was even more disappointed than me.
