Awesome product, loved it

Nozzle attachment failed completely. It shot off in the first 15 seconds. I had to to hold nozle on gun with my hands for entire job. I had to take off my gloves to do it, so I had the foam caked on my hands for the next 3 days. I was still able to spread product, but it is not very even.

Ok. Good stuff 。not short

Used a hot water bath (laundry tub) to get the tanks to temperature and lined a cardboard box with pink codebord to keep them closer to temperature while I worked. You don't get the full coverage as there is some waste when you check that the streams are mixing in a 1:1 ratio. Also, if you stop and start, you may get a blockage, which means more waste. Make sure to use all the proper safety equipment as instructions recommend. Best to have a clear path to all the spaces you want to cover and remove anything that is in the way. The release for the spray nozzle is on the top of the gun and I accidentally hit it several times trying to spray in close quarters, which results in the spray nozzle popping off. This means you have to stop, clean the gun and ensure you have a 1:1 ratio (more wasted product) before replacing the nozzle and proceeding. In the end, I got a much less expensive job than hiring the work out, but I had to touch up places that were light or missed due to the angle of spray. Dupont technical told me I could use Great Stuff Gap & Crack foam as the two products are compatible. That was good as I used a few more cans of Great Stuff after buying a second kit. Again, still much cheaper than having a company come in to spray rim joists. Cleanup was fairly easy with cement floors. Just used an extended exacto knife to scrap the floors. You could put a protective layer down, but I figured scraping the floors was as much work and created less disposable waste. Keep an eye on the color of the product when spraying. I didn't notice as the lighting in the basement wasn't great, but the color change happened and I ended up having to mechanically remove the poorly cured foam from several joists mechanically by scraping.
