Defective #4 Water Filter

Sounds like other people are having the same issue. The most recent filter I received with my subscription is defective. Loud hammering noise in the fridge which did decrease as I ran water for over several minutes but water flow is a trickle. Tried all troubleshooting steps. Reinstalled numerous times. Eventually had to go back to my old filter. Please send me a new one or cancel the subscription.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We suggest flushing the filter by running one gallon of water through to clear out any air bubbles. Q: Est-il vraiment nécessaire d'évacuer plus de 9 litres d'eau lors du remplacement du filtre ? Il me semble que c'est une perte importante d'eau potable.

  • A: Le fabricant recommande d'utiliser environ 2,5 gallons d'eau pour éliminer les fines de carbone qui peuvent être présentes pendant la fabrication. On peut les voir dans le premier verre d'eau collecté lorsqu'un nouveau filtre est installé. C'est une recommandation seulement.
