FRANK Rotating Mop

Broke the first day I used the mop. Seems heavy duty but it is not.

As another reviewer has noted, it's good as a dry mop, but the moment you spray some cleaner on the floor, it drags quite a bit. Now, this isn't the problem, but if you apply some pressure to wipe the cleaner, you'd likely strain the hinge and break it. It looks & feels heavy duty, but the pivoting hinge is made of plastic. To save on the material, they designed that piece quite thin with 'braces' rather than make it out of thick plastic. It would have been really nice if it was made of metal like the handle/thick plastic. It worked great for a few times, then broke in about 1 month. If you are looking for a heavier duty mop to replace a swiffer, this is not it, which is a shame as I had high hopes for this mop. Tried to see if I can contact the brand directly, but it looks like FRANK is just a Canadian Tire's brand and it's just a brand with white labeled products (where a different manufacturer supplies the product, just with "FRANK" brand name on it) , and there is absolutely no contact information other than an email address for collaborators. Kind of shows that they don't really care.

I don't like this mop as a wet mop, I find it sticks and doesn't really have scrub type bristles anyway. It does, however, make an easy/fast job of sweeping. When it gets dirty I just use a scrub brush outside to clean it off and keep going. I have a rubber scrub brush from a popular no chemical cleaning product company, but any scrub brush works fine. I bought an extra pad but I really don't use it, because brushing off the dirt works fine.

This is a wonderful mop. Its really durable and easy to use. Easily slides from side to side to go under tables and around corners. The cover slides off for ease in washing.
