Q: 2008 Ford F250 5.4 litre V8 Will this fob replace the Ford "smart key" and allow the engine to start?

A: Hi there, thank you for your question. The Ford Key Fob, 1998-2012 Model (Item #1202045) is only for remote keyless entry, and a separate key will be needed for the ignition.

A: This particular FOB is designed for Ford vehicles. We do not currently have a consumer-programmable remote for the Pontiac Pursuit.
