Terrible quality

Bought one of these in june, the floaters came off after a week, it almost never worked despite being placed in direct sunlight. Already had to throw it out.

Even sitting in full sun it would not always work.. it was frustrating .. when it worked it looked great .. but rarely ... I gave up and returned it

For the price, this fountain only worked for 1 month. Now if it sits outside of a water source in direct sunlight for a couple hours I may get it it work for 20 minutes. Not worth it

Living Solar-Powered Floating Fountain

The device moves around in the water, spraying water over the sides of the fountain base (not provided.). The solar power works well and fun and impressive to see, but to what avail if there's soon no water. There needs to be a way of anchoring the gadget to the fountain base that is it placed in.

A: YES. But bear in mind that your standard bird bath will (6 L) need a refill of water at least 3 times per day because Evaporation is increased and sparkling water out of the birdbath…

A: Yes as long as it gets a good charge during the day and the water level in the bird feeder is adequate it will operate. It is a very cool product. I have had mine for three years and still works like the ay I bought it

Q: Does product # 059-1372 have clear plastic covering it or is this the protective film that should be removed? I can't seem to remove this covering.

A: Remove the film. To reduce the film build up- scrub your basin daily, rinse basin refill to top of basin. Every few weeks remove pump from solar panel, remove plastic filter from pump unit and rinse slime and guck away. The screen cap on top wool also need to be blown free every week as surprisingly gunk will block some or all your spot holes reducing and eliminating the volume of water your fountain will spout out.

Q: After taking it of the box, are you supposed to charge the panel out of the water for 2-3 hours first then submerge in water ? Or can you immediately immerse in bird bath with water and it can charge that way.

A: both is okay ,if you have no time to put the panel out of the water, you can put it in water directly, the very important is the fountain must be working under the full sunlight .
