we too did not realize it needed to be cemented. Had it standing on the deck while we were preparing a base and the lamp is top heavy and fell over and broke.

I purchased this and it is very pretty but didn’t realize it had to be anchored to concrete so I purchased a patio block and my son drilled holes to match the base of the lamp. Once everything was put together we buried the concrete patio block in my flower bed. It worked great and the lamp looks stunning and very stable. You’d never know there’s concrete attached because of the soil and plants covering it . The lamp nice and bright!

Q: The specifications claim its a 300 lumen light but it only uses a 1 watt bulb. This is not possible. How many lumens does it produce?

Q: Would this survive outside in the winter?

A: Yes, though the batteries will need to be replaced in spring if left out all winter. The solar panels will also need cleaning in the spring after having snow on them. Also, keep in mind a solar product is not going to perform as well during winter months as it does in the spring and summer.

Q: The box says it uses E27 Max 1Watt bulbs, I have read that E26 bulbs work but I cannot find anything that uses less than 4Watt. Where can I find the bulb for this?
