I was surprised to learn from the bulb packaging that there are numerous voltage ratings for all these bulbs that look the same. I needed replacement bulbs for a string of 10 bulbs, the packaging told me that 12 volt bulbs were what I needed. That’s what I bought and they are doing the job.
