It lasts about 2 years before it snaps

We had this for 2 years we only used it in the spring and summer and not every day. We are well under the weight limit and a ton of the ropes were worn down all around the wood and the top eventually snapped in a few places. Looks pretty but of course for the price it’s not built to last.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Frayed Ropes

We had the hammock up for less than a month (would bring inside during rain and wind), and the suspension ropes have frayed and broken.

Bought this and it was used four months in the shade on our deck, never exposed to sun or rain and the ropes that suspend it have broken.

Q: Can you lay down in the hammock or is this meant for just sitting?

A: We've had them for years, cottage and home. Great for children cause they cant fall out and babies for the same reason. Top choice on the deck for a lazy read cause you can draw feet up inside. The shape conforms to your body so you can push out with your feet and make it hammock shape too! We have both a polyester type rope and cotton. Cotton is the most comfortable against your skin.

Q: Can you hang it inside? Just wondering if you are able to hang this inside from your ceiling?? And if so, do you need special hardware ? I would like to put this in my baby's nursery in place of a tradition rocking chair. Thank you!

A: Great idea, nothing on the floor! Depending on hanging height may be hard to get in or out of holding a baby? For this make sure you could just put feet down and stand up, hammock would fall away from your body. Also watch how close to your wall the top bar comes. Someone swinging too close may add a few dents
