I bought this hammock stand 2 years ago and the knob attached to the spring that holds the bars in place randomly broke. Not super happy with the life span of it however, it did do the trick for the 2 years it lasted. I will be purchasing a new stand elsewhere.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Still holding up

I purchased the stand and the hammock around 5 years ago. Easy set up, easy take down for winter storage. Last winter, I left the stand out and used the hooks for hanging bird feeders. Every summer, I sleep in the hammock any chance I get! So happy with this product.

Stand quality not great

I bought this for the Canada Day weekend along with the Canada Day hammock. But poor machining turned what should have been a five minute job into an hour of grinding and filing. About half of the joints slid together very well but the others did not. They had metal burrs and the tubing had been deformed during manufacture. The joints were very binding and I doubt the stand could be disassembled. For the price I expected better.

Hammock Rope not good quality

I got this Hammock last year from the Niagara Falls Store and I only had for a year. I just noticed the rope today taking it out for the first this spring and noticed the three rope strands coming undone and is shredding. I do not understand how this is happening after only been used for one summer season. I am assuming it’s from the wood bar after taking it down and putting it away nightly. upset I don’t have the receipts or this neither does my mother but my mother who works for Canadian tire and bought this as a birthday gift for me with her Canadaian tire MC. what happens if the store doesn’t replace it? What a waste of money spent. This was paid full price

Q: Does it come with chains and hooks for a hammock? The box didn't come with any hardware, and my hammock doesn't have anything to hang up with. Does it come with any chain and hooks/carbiners?

A: I would say so. We've left it out in a few rain showers. The whole thing is painted with an enamel paint. It's possible that water could run into the uprights through the holes for the chains at the top, but you could always cover them with plastic. The stand assembles and disassembles very quickly, so if rain is really a concern you could take it apart and store it out of the weather. We always take the hammock off the stand and bring it indoors after using it so it'll last longer. Hope that helps.

Q: What is the weight capacity for this stand?

A: Ours snapped with 120lbs of pressure. Weight capacity states 450lbs. I don't trust that.

Q: I need threaded bolts with hooks. They didn't come with the stand. CTC stores can't get them.How can I get them? Only wood screw bolts for trees were supplied. I need metal bolts for the stand.
